The Legend of Bentley Continental R-type, 1954



At first Bentley is a car company that comes from the French, then WO Bentley bought the company and changed its name to Bentley, the company was changed to Bentley Motors In 1919, after a charge of making aircraft engines during World War I, in 1954 the company launched Bentley Continental r-type, which is now a legend.

This car has a high speed with efficient style designed by HJMulliner. During the age of R-Type and its predecessor, the Mark VI, the two models sold very well in Australia, making the world's largest export market for these cars. With strong performance, good build quality and lots of characters available for a very reasonable expenditure.


Profile Continental and Bentley Mark VI standard sedan are indistinguishable up to the rear edge of the front door, more than that the whole point "Fastback" Continental design incorporates rear window and close the sweeping trucks that generate wider luggage compartment.
