Dodge Boss wants to revive Plymouth Barracuda

Boss Dodge brand which is also the head of Chrysler design is figure out how to revive the Plymouth Barracuda, To the guests who come to the SEMA aftermarket show, Ralph Gilles said "There are a lot of pressure on us to bring 'back Cuda".

Being that the Plymouth brand was removed from the back of the Chrysler Group portfolio in 2001, if the 'Cuda was to be revived, it may be marketed under the Chrysler brand. And like the original 1970 model, it will be based from the Dodge Challenger today.

The 'Concept Cuda was handcrafted by Gaffoglio Family Metalcrafters, which incidentally, is the same company that manufactured the original Challenger concept that led to the current production model.

Although many may think that it isbased on the Challenger, the 'Cuda was built in the study a shortened version of a brand new 2007 Charger SRT8. Car design was inspired by his ancestors 1970-74 "E" Body. It was auctioned off by Barrett Jackson in 2008 for $ 159,500. Metalcrafters also created a convertible version of the concept Cuda.
